To Shop or Not To Shop

Lots of my fellow bloggers are getting me in the mood for some shopping! I am just itching to go get some clothes for our little one in Russia, but the below zero temps are forcing me to stay inside. I'd like to get a winter coat, snowpants, and boots before they are out of season. I wish we hadn't gotten rid of T's clothes that were size 4T and under at our garage sale a couple years ago. Back then I had no idea we would be adopting a child, from Russia, ever!

(This post was edited to remove Brother's age. We don't want to jeopardize anything with our adoption, so his age must remain confidential at this time.)

Speaking of adjustments, we adjusted to the time change coming back pretty easily, because we were so exhausted, although I've been getting up earlier in the morning than I used to, and Matt's been going to bed earlier.

We're waiting to hear the final word on how many documents we need to prepare for court, although initially it sounds like we might not have too many. It hasn't been even a year since we started this process, so many things have not expired. We feel very blessed that this process has gone much faster than we had anticipated. Although the costs are quite a bit more than we had estimated. But it doesn't matter, it is all worth it!

I'll leave you with a few more pics of our trip:

If were voting here I say SHOP! However...take it a little bit at a time, definitely pace it out (it helps ease the time). Thanks for posting the pics. The Astrakan hotel looks nice.

Glad I caught the age before you removed it. A bit of a difference from what you originally planned, but I'm sure you'll have fun preparing for him.

I vote shop! And let us know what you find so I can live through you since I've been told not to shop for awhile. :o(
